Celebrating Five Years of WMF
Women’s Mentoring Foundation Marks Half a Decade of Empowerment—Over 200,000 Lives Transformed.
We’re beyond thrilled to celebrate an extraordinary milestone: over the past five years, WMF has positively impacted more than 200,000 lives—right here in Queensland, across Australia, and around the globe!
This remarkable milestone was officially recognized during a heartfelt ceremony, where WMF proudly received its certificate of appreciation.
That certificate stands as a powerful testament to WMF’s unwavering commitment, tireless work, and profound impact—both within Queensland’s vibrant communities and far beyond.

The official certificate presented to WMF recognizing over 200,000 lives impacted in five years.
Honouring Collaboration & Vision
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to:
The Hon. David Crisafulli, Premier of Queensland, whose journey from Townsville-based local governance to the state’s 41st Premier demonstrates inclusive leadership shaped by both compassion and pragmatism.
The Hon. Fiona Simpson, long-serving Member for Maroochydore and current Minister for Women’s Economic Security, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships, and Multiculturalism. Elected at just 27—she was the youngest woman ever to enter Queensland Parliament—and later served as Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
This certificate symbolizes more than an award—it represents our shared values, mutual trust, and the positive force of community-driven change.
